niyara & co pride ourselves in our double-cushioned jutti's for all-day comfort and feet-care! Buying your first pair? Not to worry, here are some tips for maintaining and caring for your jutti's! 
 
Do not machine wash your jutti, to clean them and remove odour,  pat down with a damp cloth and dry under the sun!
Don't 'slip them on' and press down on the back of the jutti with your heel, it will damage the jutti and potentially, any designs! 
Don't store them in direct sunlight or it will discolour the material on the jutti. Store your jutti in a clean cloth (or a niyara jutti bag that we provide upon purchase), so that it doesn't lose it's luster!
After 1-2 wears, it will stretch by 1-2 cm, try to 'wear them out' 1-2 times to roughen the sole (not mandatory, just a tip)!
The embroidery on your jutti may be delicate so please be careful in handling them.
